Blog2022 ≫ The XBox uses more energy than I thought

Hmm can definitely see a constant energy use when the boys are off school! Is it going to be an expensive summer? Maybe I should ration their time on that a bit more closely... Will see how tomorrow looks, as thing one has been out at a friends house all day, and thing two has been partly in partly out but not XBoxing much. He's happier to play and do more creative things at the moment.

Been a very busy day of work for me today, all the regular things and then a meeting and a workshop. So not real work at all, but the sort of thing I do. I'm getting some stuff done though, so I hope it is appreciated. I claimed for some overtime today too, and I need to get some expenses for the trip to Prague sorted too, and I'm actually kind of in the black too, and it's pay day on Friday.

Was cooler today, though I have not really been out. I can feel a breeze blowing through the house now. The weather finally "broke" quite late last night. First there was distant lightning, out to sea, which was cool. Then it got closer and you could hear the thunder, and finally a HUGE CRASH of it, and then the rain. I'm not a big fan of thunder storms close up. No, I'm not scared, you're scared.

Got a birthday present already! A very nice record player1 arrived, though I'm not opening it until my birthday.
