I've not been out for a run all week, and then this morning I did all the exercise; cycle to parkrun, run quite fast, cycle back. I didn't walk there as I would have liked as I had to be back here by 10am again so Clare could go for her hair cut. Made it in plenty of time, it was a very hot day out there so the breezy ride back down hill was just the ticket.

Fastest parkrun of the year! Fastest one since my fastest ever, which was in January 2020 right before my cataracts operations and I had to take a break from running, and then we all went into lockdown. How fast might I have got without that break?
Then to Tesco to get some bits for lunch, now waiting for some of thing one's friends to be delivered so we can all go bowling and to Pizza Express. Shame to be going to Ashford at any time, but it always seems a particular shame to be heading inland when it's a lovely day, and it really is today.
Hoping to watch some darts today as the Nordic Masters is on in Copenhagen and my friend is there and I might spot him in the audience. There will be highlights tonight, so maybe.
