Plumber arrived at last. I am home today instead of in London because this was the earliest date we could get for my tap that is precariously balanced right now. He's also replacing the bathroom mixer tap which has been a "you have to use pliers to turn it off" job for years. Anyway when he got here he said "sorry I'm a bit late, previous job couldn't have gone much worse. I was only replacing a basin and the whole wall came down". I'm sure it will be fine and it was not him that brought the wall down.
Plumber tells he he has met Paul McCartney. A relative of his was a record producer who worked with him, and with Oasis too. At first he says "I see you are a fan of the Beatles" and I thought he was talking about the VW Beetle outside. But no it was the vinyl copies of Revolver1 and Rubber Soul1 up on the wall. He has not see Paul McCartney in concert though, like what we done have. I did not ask about Oasis.
Getting out of going to London again today saves me about a quarter of what the plumber is going to cost. I do have to go in next week though, maybe twice. At least once to a team away day brainstorming or something, and I have to to to Shepherds Bush.
Running challenge is going well I am at about 96km which is ahead of the game even for my new 200km challenge. If I was not tucking into a sausage sandwich now while waiting for the plumber to plumb I could be out now getting that over 100km. I still might pass that later today. I got up early today, because I still had my alarm on go-to-london time but I didn't have to go anywhere. So time to sort the breakfasts and still have a good go on the treadmill. I managed 10km today before work, get in.
