Blog โ‰ซ 2022 โ‰ซ Only one person spotted I am not in London today

The rest of the team are remote, one person is in and was hoping to see me, we can catch up next week. I refunded my train tickets, and I still took thing two to breakfast club, so I only really lost my parking money. I'm way up, which is handy this month, as I seem to have spent it all already.

I ran outside this morning after dropping him off, so am done for fresh air and exercise and I think I'm 40% done on the running challenge too. Not bad after five days. I could still run more today, but I am physically tired now. I could set myself a stretch goal of 200km in May. But I might not. It's good being tired, hopefully means I will sleep better. Tried to go to bed earlier the last couple of nights though and that did not really work, I lay awake not sleeping for seemingly quite a while.

Can't help feeling I'm repeating myself a lot. I know I am, that I repeat this year what I said last year, for example in my gig history bit that I'm about to write below ๐Ÿ‘‡ but am I also repeating today what I said yesterday? Is it early onset dementia? Or just normal age dementia?

In unneccessary over-sharing, I think I might have finally sorted my dandruff! It's been annoying for ages, it turns out the biggest impact has been to use a soothing conditioner. It's not about the shampoo at all. This is a new one that I saw advertised on TV, thought I'd give it a go, and it has been great.

There was some other product I was going to link to today, that wasn't shampoo or conditioner, but I can't remember it now. The dementia again. It might just have been the film 21 Jump Street1 as that is how Clare seems to be working right now. She is not actually in a high school pretending to be a kid, but I am joking about it with her as she is dressing younger while in her new role.

Plumber called me yesterday while I was out running and left a message, they have booked me in for Tuesday. Then called again today and left another message to say they'd mistakenly booked me in twice and can we keep the Thursday booking. I guess so. I originally wanted Tuesday, it's sooner, and I should be in London Thursday, but he said he might not have time to complete the job on Tuesday, so I suppose that is most important.

I had a ยฃ25 win on the Premium Bonds. I still might cash some in this month, just to see is through to bonus day pay day in luxury. Assuming I get the bonus. Have not had it confirmed yet...

Today in 2004 we were at Ghost Of The Robot, that's Spike out of Buffy The Vampire Slayer's band. OK, not Spike's band, but James Marsters who plays him, it's his band. If I was in London I could be popping along to this sort of thing after work. Do they still go normal gigs that you can just go to without having paid ยฃ300 for a ticket a year in advance? I'm not sure.
