Contractors came yesterday to dig up the pavement, to clear the duct, to let the fibre optics come into our house. Then today another one came to fill the hole in again, so the pavement is all neat. Next step someone else will be back to run the fibre into the house and we'll have super fast internets.
Had a nice day today, parkrun this morning, went well though I got there a bit late after dropping thing one off at sports club, and started right at the back. If I'd not started right at the back I think it would have been a surprisingly fast time. As it was it was OK:

After, went to Tesco, picked him up again, cleaned the car, and then we went out for a walk to Sandgate. Stopped at the Inn Doors on the way back and we all sat outside in the sun playing Top Trumps. Well, they played Top Trumps and I chatted. Then they left me there for another one, I came back to cook the boys pizzas as Clare is going out, and now my own tea is in and we're going to watch something Marvel or Star Wars on TV. But turning it off for an hour at eight thirty, because it is earth hour1. Turning everything off. I don't think it's going to make much of an impression round here but I'll look out the window and see.
