Blog2022 ≫ So much for swimming

Parkrun went quite well. Not nice weather out there, bit cold, bit drizzly.

You finished in 47th place and were the 37th Male out of a field of 286 parkrunners and you came 6th in your age category VM45-49. Take a look at this week's full set of results on our website. Your PB at Folkestone parkrun remains 00:20:50. Your best time this year remains 00:22:56.

They had pace setters this week, I kept the twenty-three minute person in sight, but not as close as I'd have liked.

After a long walk to Folkestone Sports Centre we got there in time to see them turning the lights off in the pool. It had to close because the lifeguards were sick. So walked back into town, still cold now as I'm still in my shorts. Went in Waterstones and bought the boys some books, then back to Subway for an early lunch, and then got the bus home again. No plans for the rest of the day.

Oh I won on the Premium Bonds this week, twenty-five quid. First one in about six months.

Stonks have had another shocker though. I'm down on my freetrade account, the worst it's ever been. I have a lot of Lloyds shares and they're down 20% this month.
