Blog2022 ≫ Busy busy busy and still locked in

I am still in the house, because the boys have covid, but I do not, and neither does Clare. Clare has been back to work, but I have not been out yet. Might go out tomorrow night, unsure yet.

CRAZY busy at work, we have been "about to go live" every day this week with my big new project. Latest news is that it's happening at 5:30 tomorrow morning. I don't have to be up at that time, but I will be on call from about 9:00 on Monday for a full seven days.

I did treadmilling again today, before work, I still like it. It's not as much of a workout as proper running outside but it's easier to fit in with the boys.

A historically good week for gigs, this day in previous years include And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Ash, Goldie Lookin Chain, Love (Arthur Lee, because Love is a bit of a hard name to search for), and The Sultans Of Ping. None of these are a nice round twenty or twenty-five years though.

Ooh pay day tomorrow, which also means just a week until my new chair arrives. I'm more excited about the chair than the pay. I have no plans to buy anything right now. Still got the money put by to get our new blinds, just waiting until our house no longer has the plague and we can get someone round to measure up.

Is Boris Johnson still prime minister? We're surely counting down the hours now.
