I'm not as cross about the conservatives trying to destroy everything today. They lost their vote in the House Of Lords where they were trying to stifle legitimate protest, and everyone sees the "defund the bbc" talk as just an attempt to distract from your man boris johnson and his constant partying. Now he's popped his head up again he's doing his best to undermine himself here, "no-one warned me going to a party was against the rules" indeed, on the very days when he's appearing on our TV every night saying "stay in, don't mingle with other households, you can meet one person only for one hour for exercise" etc. What an absolute clown.
I ran a bit further a bit earlier today. Bit of a rude awakening to start though, I was just dozing peacefully thinking ah, lovely lie-in, when the 6:45 alarm went off. Breakfast for the boys and then I did 2km while thing one was eating his, and another 2km while thing two had his, and then the final 1km before starting work. So I had an entirely free lunch hour which I spent doingt he ironing and looking out the window. It looked like a beautiful day today and it was certainly warm behind the patio doors.
Been having second chair thoughts because I saw this chair listed locally 1, a Stressless one like Mum and Dad have. It would be comfortable, it would recline, it is leather but I would get it recovered. But I just refreshed on it and now it is gone. I've been looking for alternative recliner chairs but can't find anything that suits. The IKEA chair is still unavailable.
I'm really like Habitat Radius furniture again and am wondering about forgetting the chair for a while and spending my chair budget on a new tallboy 2. I used to have one, we have three in the house, so the others have one each, I gave mine up when thing two was big enough to need furniture. Maybe it's time I got one again, we do have room for it as it's tall and narrow.
We're really enjoying the Tesco "no gin and tonic" cans, they're tasty and super low in calories too. Dryanuary still well underway!
