Up at 6:45 to get thing one ready for school. I thought I could start him off with his breakfast, run, then be back before he had to go for the bus at 7:40. Then thought this was too much of a rush, so got his breakfast and thought I'd do some treadmill before he went 1. Then when he was having his breakfast I realised he didn't have to start today until 11:45 because they're doing staggered start for the first day and testing of pupils before they go in. It's all a bit of a mess so far. I have done 1km on the treadmill, I will get my 5k in in little bursts.
Did hear on the BBC today that the government are relaxing the requirements for testing in a few places. I hope this is because of increased confidence in these areas (maybe we don't need all the PCRs after an asymptomatic LFT because these cases are nearly always OK?) but I suspect it is because of decreased competence (aaargh too many tests to process). The care minister Gillian Keegan was on BBC breakfast not-quite-talking about it (I watched TV on the treadmill) and she consistently drops her Gs like Priti Patel does, it's very distractin'.
I did find the push-ups a little easier yesterday, but I am still way behind schedule.
Clare not up yet, she did a late shift. I tried to go to bed early but was still woken up by her in the early hours.
Shift work in winter is rubbish. Dryanuary still on track though.
