Lovely trip to the Inn Doors last night, caught up with friends who have not been there recently. One had been ill, and a couple had been attending their son who had a horrific skateboarding accident. He's on the mend now, so they're back to the pub again.
Up for parkrun this morning, and the boys were out early too. One was going to school sports club, an extra activity the school are putting on. I've spoken to him since he's been, and they did American football, softball, and lacrosse today. The other was just going to grandpa's house, and then they were both spending the afternoon there. He came to pick them up, so I left them to lock up while I biked it to parkrun. Very nice weather, a good run. I thought I was taking it easy but it was 23'29.
Congratulations on completing your 62nd parkrun and your 55th at Folkestone parkrun today. You finished in 56th place and were the 49th Male out of a field of 267 parkrunners and you came 8th in your age category VM45-49. Take a look at this week's full set of results on our website. Your PB at Folkestone parkrun remains 00:20:50. Your best time this year remains 00:22:39.
Then to town straight from there to get a battery charger for the beetle, and a few things for tea. I hope it is just that the battery needs charging anyway, but this way if it needs a new battery I can try that tomorrow. If it's not the battery then I give up.
Cycled home again and realised I had not brought a key, I was locked out. So biked it to grandpa's house to pick up a spare off him and then home again.
I was going to walk in to Docktoberfest at the Harbour Arm, as I have a free day, but not sure I can be bothered now. I have TV to watch, and a book to read.
