Blog โ‰ซ 2021 โ‰ซ Good end to a very busy week

Absolutely chocka week at work. A slightly frustrating time of trying to follow some documentation for a new thing, finding it didn't work, and thinking I'd got it wrong. Turns out the documentation just had some things in the wrong order, and all is good. Hoping this is the case with a couple more "blocking" issues in work, there are tools we need that should be working, have I made a mistake? We'll see next week. Finished the week on a positive note, something achievous right before clocking off for the day.

And speaking of clocking off, our little civil servant finished on time at last, on her final day of the week. So four days late finishing, one day bang on time.

First day of the school holidays today. Thing two has a party, I will take him there then to go to the supermarket and then go running in the area where the party is before collecting him again. I did another session on the treadmill yesterday, but I have not done any running outdoors for two weeks now I think.

Thing one is seeing a friend today, round grandpa's house, they will mostly play video games I suspect. It's really nice out though so maybe a trip to the park for them too for some basketball and football.

I had a lovely couple of hours in the Inn Doors yesterday, though not as lovely as it seemed in Fareham on Thursday. I got a late-ish video call from friends in the pub, FIVE of them had all met up at once! It went so well I hope to try and see them soon for a similar thing. Can we make it six, possibly even seven?

Seven people meeting up will be allowed, but will it be sensible? These coronavirus numbers are not really heading in the right direction. At least other countries are being a bit more sensible about it.
