Blog2021 ≫ Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Did it not come home? It doesn't seem to have come home. Did it come home while I was out, find the door locked, and then go away again? Or is it something to do with coronavirus quarantining or something?

Yesterday we went to Canterbury, in a bit of a rush, but it was nice. We went to Waterstones and we had lunch in Wagamama and we drove back again. I drove both ways, Clare had some very strange side effects to her vaccination on the Saturday. It made her stagger and wobble when she came in on Saturday night, and it gave her a bit of a headache on the Sunday morning, very strange. After Canterbury we went straight to swimming, and had a great time. Following on from the "not sure he can swim a width" / "oh he swam three lengths" of last week, both boys did TEN lengths this week. I did more, it was a proper session. We're booked up again for next Saturday.

After swimming and showers, I went down the Inn Doors for a couple of hours. The tables were all booked up for the football, but all reserved from 7pm onwards and so on. I think they were losing confidence that everyone who had booked was coming in, and I'm not sure they all did in the end. I was home in time to make my tea and watch the football, and it all went well for a bit didn't it? Penalties, again.

Today, work, and man alive it is busy. I had six new starters, and none of them had the access they needed so took up a bit more of my time. Then meetings, so doesn't feel like I achieved a lot.

Raining very heavily today, though we have not had the thunder and lighting that everyone else seems to be getting.

I think we have a problem with our post. We usually have comics arriving from Thursday to Monday, and they did not. Also I bought a picture and that has not arrived. I wonder if we've lost anything else? I will give it a couple of days and then investigate.
