Blog2021 ≫ A deserved pint

Off to the pub after work today. Been a busy week and not over yet, though I don't seem to have achieved as much as I hoped. Still another week closer to pay day.

We're off to the Three Mariners today, though I'd imagine it'll be too busy and we won't get in. Back-ups are The Hope which is not as good, and I've never sat outside htere. Then also The Bell, which was quite good, but we were very cold last time. The Three Mariners is nicely sheltered and had heaters and good beer, could do with getting in there. I hear The Bell and The Hope have both now raised the bar to being over twenty-ones only, they must have had some difficulty with younger drinkers. I did think the crowd looked fairly fresh faced when we went to The Bell that time.

No huge plans for the weekend. Delivering thing one to his sports club tomorrow morning, then I think I'm ahead of the tidying and the jobs, so hopefully some nice relaxed sitting.

What good did voting do yesterday, the tories seem to be winning more councils. The turkeys are still voting for christmas. I don't think Keir Starmer is long in this job. Still waiting to hear about Kent county council but I don't hold out much hope.
