Thought it was going to be a really good run, I did 9k or so and then turned back onto Princes Parade for a straight run back with the wind behind me, but my knee started to twinge. I had to slow down and limp to 10k and missed out on the wind powered benefits.
Not happy with what's going on at the canal, it's been closed off while it is cleared. There are locked gates and security guards stopping people seeing what is going on. It's definitely not just tree maintenance, I think they're starting to clear it to get trucks down there ready for the overdevelopment of Princes Parade. All the good councillors have done everything they can to stop this vandalism, but the bad guys still have control of the council.
5k: Five kilometres, about three miles in old money.
10k: Ten kilometres, just over six miles to you. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step-count target.
