Just barely got thing one out on time this morning, he's going to have to get up earlier tomorrow. I have set the routine to open his blinds ten minutes earlier, home automation for the win! He has such a heavy bag to take to school each day, I had to get him out on time as there's no way he could run with that bag. I think they still have no lockers at school, so everything has to be carried back and forth each day.
Thing two is a bit easier to get ready, we have more time, and Clare is gone before either of them get up. I have about a fifteen minute gap now between Clare bringing me a cup of tea and needing to get thing one moving, so just time for some Duolingo. I've kept this up every day so far, a streak of 143 days.
Ten minutes before thing two's school run, and then to work for me. It's going to be crazy when I have to go to London... I really hope working from home gets adopted properly even when we don't have to social distance any more.
Starting to hear from friends in my school year who are being vaccinated now, I hope this keeps going smoothly. Other countries that are not doing quite so well are having another wave of coronavirus.
