Very strange to have lunch all to myself, with both boys at school. I could have gone for a run but I had the semi-regular not sleeping well on a Monday night so don't feel like it. Instead I made some instant noodles for lunch. Not a Pot Noodle, I'm cutting right down on them because of the excess plastic it's generating. Also not the "potless noodle" that they sell, this was just just generic supermarket instant noodles, with added peas, soya beans and chilli oil, and it was really good.
Oh yeah also just paid off the mortgage. We are mortgage free, now what? I feel a bit underwhelmed. I sent this to Clare and she took it to me "now what should I spend a load of money on" and responded with new sofa, new carpets, new blinds, and redecorating the whole house. Instead I'm just going to put it back into Premium Bonds again for now, though still got some spare for a holiday and other odds and ends.
