Blog2021 ≫ Would have had a better day on the shares if I had done nothing

Quite exciting watching the shares today, some shares I bought at a very low price started rising fast. They seemed to have peaked, and I thought it was a fluke they had gone up, so I sold up. I thought I had seen the peak anyway. The peak I spotted is that tiny blip just about the 10p mark there. I bought them at 6p, so that's a big old profit and all good. They ended the day at 14p though, so I could have more than doubled my money. If I'd just been asleep all day I'd have woken up to a nice surprise tomorrow morning.

I took my small profit and put it in Ocado shares instead. They won't be as volatile, it's probably fairly safe, but there won't be any doubling of value in a day.

My share advising friend Jules thinks they're all going to tank tomorrow when Joe Biden starts making policies, we will have to see. I am hoping the market will like that he is a sound leader.
