Blog2021 ≫ Runuary day sixteen

This is the actual mid way point of January, so I've reached the peak of dryanuary and runuary and there's less of the month in front of me than there is behind me from now on. A wild departure today, I took the boys up to Jim's house so decided to wait and run while I was out, a slightly different route. In the end I left the car at Tesco and ran from there to Folkestone and back again, so just over 5km. Also a departure, I installed a thing so I have weather added to my runs automatically on Strava now, see this example1:

🌧 Lunch Run

Rain Showers, 5°C, Feels like 2°C, Humidity 87%, Wind 20mph from SSW

It was quite foul out there, wore my coat again.

I went in Tesco after the run to get lunches and teas and treats for the next few days. It came to £27 but I got £7 off that with my clubcard! Partly my new staff discount but mostly their new thing of discounting certain products if you use your clubcard. It's all stuff I would have bought anyway. Tesco, you are quite good.

Clare has been for another coronavirus test ready for work on Monday. There's a new testing centre here, it's super efficient, she had her negative result before even getting home.

We're all going to watch a film later, maybe the book thing one has been reading for school Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children2.
