BBC has got it here, defund the BBC immediately, how dare they contradict the lies of Boris Johnson!
Too many of the benefits - if not all of the benefits - they claim are things that we would have had as part of the EU anyway.
Keep an eye on the BBC and Private Eye2 for more of this. One of his main tactics is to just keep repeating the thing that's not true, so that what is in the news is "Boris Johnson says black is white", and people hear "blah blah blah black is white". It's clever stuff, these are obviously clever people, but their cleverness is not being put to the use of the people.
We have worked out another tactic of his is to do nothing until the very last minute. We're really annoyed about the school opening situation. Seems lots of schools are having to make their own call on whether to open or not, and parents are having to decide whether to send their kids in. The official line is, school is open, send your kids in. Our school are going with that, we we're sending him in. However we are quite confident this will change later this week, the government will u-turn at the last minute (or rather just after the last minute). Anyone who is vulnerable and has had to go into school, or come into contact with anyone who has had to go into school is already in trouble by this point. So, this "do nothing until the last minute" thing, it's like we're being driven down the motorway and the signs are saying "lane closure ahead". The government will do nothing, not make a decision, until we're bumper to bumper with the stopped cars in front. Then they can make the decision. Driving into the verge and turning the car over was the very best outcome we could hope for, isn't it obvious that it was a better thing to do than to ram the cars in front? Back slaps all round.
Same tactic for schools as for other aspects of coronavirus, and brexit, and everything.
