Blog2020 ≫ And I am back

THAT will teach Clare to try and out run me, I just did a really good 10k1, good for me anyway. Garmin says it was my best time for a 10k and for a 5k, but Strava does not agree1. I think that's because I thought something fell out of my bum bag at about 5k so paused the watch and stopped to look. Thought it was one of my earbuds, but couldn't find it. Then realised it was still in my ear... Started up again, and the second 5k is slower, more hills. I ran a couple of times round the park to make it up to 10k and finished exactly where Clare had left the car.

Time to celebrate with a walk to the Inn Doors I think, then off to Tin And Tap2 for tea.

77 broken links still.

5k: Five kilometres, just over three miles in old money.

10k: Ten kilometres, just over six miles to you. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step count target.
