Working through my shopping list as it was pay day and as there was a bit more money than I've been used to for the last month. So ordered already:
And as I was typing that the post came and the slippers are here already. Next day delivery! To be fair they are expensive for slippers but I've had a few pairs of them and I like them. They make me feel like they're cool house trainers or something not old man slippers to stop my feet hurting on the hard floor.

Probably doing more of that with next month's pay (including redundancy pay). Not 100% on when we'll get a new car yet though. Clare is keener on this than I am.
Been watching The Boys3 as I accidentally signed up for a free trial of amazon prime again. I must remember to cancel it, but while it's here I can watch some of their video. It's not very good really.
I'm in my last month of notice now, before the new job starts. I should be thinking "woohoo a whole month off" but instead I'm thinking "gah I only have a month left".
Getting into a panic of "what have I actually achieved"? Today I've made spaghetti bolognaise for later, will change the beds and do the ironing and think I'll go and buy some more paint. I'm also expecting a delivery of those waterproof colour changing led strips so will liven up the balcony if the rain holds off. We had heavy rain in the night but it's OK right now.
Trying to work out a plan for a socially-distanced social tomorrow. A long walk to a pub garden would be nice, but if this rain keeps up that is not really a goer. Not confident about sitting inside a pub at the moment, doesn't feel the right thing to do.
