Hmm, fitted the new Govee led light strip around thing two's bed, and it was looking good. However one of the staples I used has gone through one of the wires, and now it only lights up in white and none of the other colours. So I need some more of these1. This is the set I bought originally1, when it was £15, price has gone up now. However I only need a replacement of the lights and not the controller so I think I could buy any of their cheaper sets. Maybe I shouldn't risk it though in case the wires are in the wrong order. Remember next time I do this DIY to "stick" to the sticky strips that came with it and not improvise...
I also found what looks suspiciously like the remains of my bluetooth earbuds in the tumble dryer.
21° and looks nice. Clare has the afternoon off, so I have prepared a picnic lunch and we will drag the boys out somewhere. I'm thinking The Warren today.
Proper gigiversary today, a quarter of a century since the Supergrass and Bluetones combo at South Parade Pier. I'm trying to find out more about it here2, see if anyone else remembers it or why it might have happened.

Also twenty-six years ago today Shakin Stevens at Portsmouth Heinekin free festival! There must have been other acts on, maybe The Men They Couldn't Hang? Twenty-six years ago was the Paul Weller thing that was the precursor to V Festival. I wasn't at that one but Clare was, lots of britpop.
