Blog ≫ 2020 ≫ Twenty five years ago I was at Phoenix festival

Details are here, I remember queueing most of Friday to get in, did we even see David Bowie ¹? I don't think so! Then queueing most of the weekend for water, it was super super hot. That lineup looks very good in retrospect, probably didn't appreciate it fully at the time. I remember queueing up to meet The Wedding Present at a signing tent, I must dig that out.

1. Uh no, Bowie didn't play this year, I was mixing up 1995 with 1996. I still don't remember seeing David Bowie in 1996 either though, I think that was the year with all the queueing and the heat, this one was a lot more civilised
