We're going absolutely crazy today! I'm collecting shopping at 3pm, but there's an added prescription pickup, so I have to actually goin the store too. Then as I'm going in the shop anyway, can I get a few extra things? Gah it will be an afternoon of queuing in the supermarket. Anyway this has thrown things right out, as it means I can't collect thing one from school, so he's walking home alone. Then it would mean thing two was unsupervised for a time, or at least asking questions when Clare was trying to work, so we've rearranged his day and I've taken him for exercise this morning during what would normally be gaming time. We walked along the canal, and it was nice.
Anyway, the day is completely upside down.
Tonight should be back on track with a Zoom call with my buddies, and then tomorrow is looking good too. We're doing a five mile walk at midday ending up in a friend's garden where we will receive a huge beer delivery from Firkin Alehouse. Cheers!
I went for a late run yesterday to get away from the shouting about video games and did a reasonable 5k but not one to shout about. I thought the wind would give me more of an edge, but not this time.
Looks like we timed our walk right today, it's absolutely booting it down now, a proper downpour with thunder. It's not due to rain tomorrow until the night time, so our big walk should be good.
