Hmm not sure what's happened here, I did have 102 artists in popex, and now there are only 97... something to do with the storage I'm using. I did have it initially set up to some super cheap (free) limited number of reads and writes, but I thought I'd changed that. I suspect it had not tried to write the artists table back since I changed that and when I deployed some new code it lost any pending updates. One player had shares in one of the now missing artists, oops.
Further investigations show possibly affected are Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, Becky Hill, Bernard Butler, and David Devant...
