Blog2020 ≫ Dry-vegan-runuary final day and a record 10k

Finished runuary with my fastest 10k so far1, a lunchtime run in slight drizzle and mist with two buddies from work. I would have done a shorter run on my own, and also might have stopped and walked towards the end of that one without them. I have a slight pain, I think I pulled a bumstring. Is that a thing? I'm going to spend Febrewery sat on my bottom. Though not really through choice for the first bit.

Going to have to give "29 different pints in 29 different pubs in 29 days" some serious thought as to the logistics. I will have to allow myself more than one pub per day to make up for not going to the pub every day. Will put in some serious effort at the weekends. Think I will exhaust all the local pubs quite quickly.

10k: Ten km, just over six miles to you. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step-count target.

runuary: Running at least 5k every day for the month of January.
