Blog2020 ≫ Dry-vegan-runuary day thirteen

Felt a bit stiff this morning gettting up. If I knew exactly what my hamstrings were I'd say one of them is causing me some pain. It's probably not stretching properly before going out, or after coming back, or just not having my normal day or two recovery between runs. Anyway, up at half six this morning and out. Was going to to the Sandgate route as it feels shorter and easier (mostly because I'm thinking about going to the Inn Doors all the way there), but the wind was blowing the wrong way for me, so I went Waitrose way instead1.

I have a new little regime where I run round our street first, a loop that brings me back to where I started, so if anything is going wrong I am very close to home and can call it off. I would have to go out again later to keep up this pointless thirty-one day challenge though.

Am in the office today, confusing. Clare has a couple of days off, so she is doing the school run this morning. Also then she won't be there for tea so no arrabiata to make. Luckily I have leftover takeaway from Nine Dragons. It was awesome again yesterday, and smashingly the guy running the place remembered me and welcomed me by name as I walked in. It's not quite like everyone knowing your name at the pub, but it was nice. I did not overeat yesterday so not feeling bloated today. There's more than enough left for tea today so I am likely to overeat tonight.

I have confused people at work by being in the office today.
