Blog2020 ≫ Fancy one of these

Went to get the bike serviced at Halfords, and they checked it out and said it's all fine, just replace the tyre. So job done, nice and cheap, and I'm good on the bike for another year. While I was in there though I saw one of these1 and I want it. So when we get to the end of the month if I'm still in the black then maybe? Or could I take some money out of the holiday fund, as you can basically only use them legally at Centerparcs? I'm sure loads of people have these and use them on roads and pavements and it's going to be all fine and legal soon. If I knew for sure it would get me up London Road (the big hill between here and work) I would get one today. If I get one when I'm feeling flush (ha) then even if it can't get me to work we can all still have fun on it. The boys are in favour.

We also went into Canterbury last night for tea. First we looked at lights in Fenwicks, but nothing quite right, all a lot more expensive but not quite as good as the ones I want in IKEA. Then on to Wagamama for tea. But we bottled it at the door, it felt too lunchy, and not the comfy sit down dining experience I was after, that we could take our time over. So we went to another chain instead, Zizzi. I had the vegan special on the set menu, so vegan "meatballs" for starter, pumpkin pasta for the main (ony ok) and a sort of millionaire shortbread for dessert.
