Blog2020 ≫ Vegan-dry-runuary day 9 slight return

Went out at lunch and did the run. Took it easy. It is cold and drizzly and windy out there. Went to Sandgate, along the riviera and back along the road a bit for shelter.

I dug out the IKEA smart socket that I bought ages ago, they're only a tenner. It also needed the remote control to set it up so it has been languishing in a cupboard for months. It works a treat, I have put an led lamp in it.

Also got ready to phone Nespresso about Jim's non-working Nespresso machine. He brought it round here so I could sort it. I plugged it in and it worked first time, hmm. I can't really phone them up until it next fails to work so we'd better hang on to it. Maybe we should give him ours. We don't want one with a milk frother on it, and are unlikely to use it, so won't know if it stops working again. However neither does he to be honest. Maybe we should start inviting people round, and force cappucinos on them until it breaks again?

Back to swimming again tonight. He did really well on Tuesday, was clearly trying very hard.
