Didn't plan to spend long in the Inn Doors on Friday, but turned up at exactly the same time as another friend who was also avoiding the work christmas do. So we had a full evening, and lots of fun. Decided not to do the parkrun in the morning, but then regretted it when I got up and the weather was good. Mum and Dad visiting, for christmas gift exchange and arguing about politics. We did the RHDR christmas train and that was great. Vegan festive snacks at the other end and a play on the train sets and some good science kit presents for the boys. Then to Everest for an early curry, then a walk home via the Potting Shed.
Did not run again this morning. We nearly did junior parkrun but thing one was not that keen so giving him a week off.
Think we're having a lazy day today, but will drag them out on bikes or scooters this afternoon, probably to Sandgate. If only there was somewhere there we could stop off at for a restorative...
I have not run for a week now, must make more effort this week.
