Parkrun today was ok, but I thought I'd done better than I had. Overslept a bit so was in a rush but I made it with time to spare. It felt hard work, I thought I was pushing myself but I was forty seconds off my best time1. Still, onwards and upwards! I will get my 50th parkrun t-shirt some time in the new year...
We put christmas decorations up today, so a good work out going back and forth to the loft. Then I had a mooch around Homebase and Wickes, looking for some ironmongery to fix our bin shed door.
Clare is out again tonight at the Ship for a "bah Kev is not here" drink. Gig last night seems to have gone very well.
Going to try and watch a film with the boys while they eat pizza. Fingers crossed Jumanji is available on Netflix, as the ads for the new one look quite good and we've not seen the first one. Not seen either of the first ones but it's the Dwayne Johnson ones we want to see rather than the Robin Williams.
Tomorrow going to try and drag thing one to the junior parkrun again, then we have the NCT christmas party, then hopefully to the Inn Doors.
It's a busy week for the boys at school with christmas plays, a panto trip, christmas dinner, and then the PTA christmas fair at the end of the week.
