Blog2019 ≫ Same old same old fitbit

Ran at lunch, usual sort of route, along the canal path past Hythe Pool (still closed) and back along the seafront. And the fitbit did stay awake for the whole trip, but it wasn't syncing with my phone. So it counts for steps, eventually, but does not count for distance.

The watch I was looking at has not come down far enough in price yet, I'm not holding out any hopes for so called Black Friday. The better version of the watch has come down to less than the cheaper version of the watch was though, so that will probably be the one for me. It has maps on the watch, which I totally don't need.

No swimming tonight, Hythe Pool is still closed. Clare is going out, quiet night in for me catching up on TV. Last Leg, some other comedy, and maybe a Marvel superhero movie... Clare is mostly recovered following her op, she drove today, but still will not be doing proper exercise for a few more weeks.

Decided to go to Canterbury on Saturday, try and wrap up christmas. Probably just thing one and me while Clare takes thing two to the cinema to see a film we do not want to see. Pay day tomorrow which is what inspires the shopping trip. Other plans for the weekend include two parkruns, one for me and one for the least lazy of the two boys.
