Blog2019 ≫ Rail replacement bus service changes our weekend plans

We were all going to London today, but I heard last night the fast trains are all off. The line is closed for leaf clearing or something. So just Clare has gone to London on the slow train and I'm taking the boys to a toy shop in Ashford to get some christmas present ideas, and then to the cinema.

Parkrun went ok this morning, though I was late to the start, everyone started while I was still locking my bike up. I still did ok, overtook a couple of people from work who I had not seen at parkrun before, and came in 58th. Not got my time yet.

Nice night at the Inn Doors last night, though started at The Fountain for one. The exterior of The Fountain looks really nice now, they've replaced all the woodwork and repainted, sandblasting the brickwork possibly. Inside they now have rolls behind the bar, and some real cider, but we didn't like the beer much. I stayed later than I intended at the Inn Doors...

UPDATE: parkrun time was 24'081 even with that crazy slow start.
