Blog2019 ≫ Did not hit my step target for the first time in weeks

Thursdays are hard, I have to spend my lunch waiting around at school as the two school pickups are half an hour apart. This means no run, nor a walk. I had two little goes on the treadmill, but only walking. Just about scraped over 10,000 steps but it's my least active day for ages. And I need to be in training! At least this week I've had my two record runs according to Strava. If I keep it session tonight at the Inn Doors then it could be a good parkrun tomorrow.

Have arranged to do junior parkrun on Sunday again too. The boys are keen, so we're putting Clare in a taxi to her pump class, then we can drive to Dover.

Fairly bad weather today, but I brought my kit to work with my anyway.

Been watching The Confession on TV. Clare much prefers that one to The Capture, sort of a competing crime drama on the other channel. Both are quite good, but with The Confession being true crime it's not much of a who-done-it or how-it-was-done, it's really about wallowing in the grimness and the grief. Not my sort of thing. The Capture is good, you're definitely not sure who did it or how it was done, or why or even if it was done at all (up to a point). But it's a bit too elaborate and less believeable than the other. I'm enjoying "Darkness: those who kill" more, even if it's not actually about The Darkness.
