Blog2019 ≫ Most deprived areas in the UK are by the seaside

But no, not us down where we are. And not much of Hampshire either though there is a little island on the map on this page. Hastings does stand out in our affluent bit of South East, but unsurprisingly Blackpool is the worst. Unsurprisingly to me anyway, who has been there, and hated it.

Actually Jaywick in Essex is top but that's a bit of a one off, there are many deprived neighbourhoods in Blackpool.

Man alive I am low on step count today, all I have done is the school runs. I will have to go out big style later. Hmm, I wonder, The Inn Doors is open again now isn't it...
