Nice, 32 parkruns under my belt now. Today's time was 21'55, which was ten seconds slower than last week, which was ten seconds slower than the week before that. I spy a pattern. In mitigation, this week I did get a bit of a slow start. No good reason, I was there in plenty of time. Also I paused on the way round to pick up a bunch of keys someone had dropped though barely slowed down at all when I handed them in again. And one last thing I properly stumbled at one point, neary stacked it. I did feel I was struggling on today's run, which is good. I can easily knock twenty seconds off that. Then only another ten seconds off that and I've beaten Jules' time.
No connection at all with how much of a struggle today's run was, but last night I went for the early session at the Inn Doors as usual and sank a few ciders. Was quite quiet though, most of my usual crowd were away.
Took the boys into town today on a search for plain paper pads that we can make flick book animations from. No joy though. Did get The Walking Dead 1 series one in a charity shop though which is good, been looking for a cheap copy of that for ages. I will start watching tonight while Clare is out celebrating her niece going off to uni.
I have not been able to get my new Tradfri bulbs from IKEA work yet. The instructions all say you need a remote, and not just the hub, but various people online say you can make it work. I did get one bulb recognised in the app, but removed it again as it appeared not to be connected. This was a mistake, this is correct apparently, but now I can't get back to that. The remote is very cheap, but it's a point of principle. I will keep going.
