Blog2019 ≫ Exciting watching the rebellion against Boris Johnson

Watching it all here. It's nasty stuff, Johnson is fighting with some dirty tactics to get Brexit through by hook or by crook, threatening his own MPs, threatening the country, etc. It's utter madness. If we get forced into a general election it sounds like the other pro-brexit groups who would have split the tory vote have disappeared but the reasonable majority are still quite split. It's ironic that the greens and the lib dems probably have more support than ever, and are against brexit but their popularity would work in the tories favour. So, we don't want a general election and Johnson knows it. I hope there are enough sensible sitting mps to throw this out. We'll find out later today. Keep watching.
