Week three of the boys making dishes based on countries that are in The Week Junior. This week it was Indonesia and they made Nasai Goreng. Clare and thing one both said it was great, sounded adventurous to me with the spices and prawns and things.
Hey I could do a table all along. They're not adjusting the previous week's scores yet, but might need to in future.
Country | Dish | # 1 | # 2 | Total |
---|---|---|---|---|
Nepal | Goat curry | 8 | 10 | 18 |
Germany | Pork schnitzel | 7 | 9 | 16 |
Indonesia | Nasai Goreng | 8 | 5 | 13 |
We should see six rows here by the end of the Summer. I suspect China, India, or Pakistan will be on this week's menu, because of Hong Kong and Kashmir.
The high start with the scores mean there's not a lot of room in here, thing one (he just referred to himself as "hashtag 1") says this week's was very good but the goat curry was better. Thing two has been a bit generous there for a dish he did not really eat much of. He did try the prawns though.
Still nothing for me to eat (I had vege sausages with rice and kale), and in the week that UN experts admit going vegan is going to help climate change. I'm not super happy about the amount we spend on animal based ingredients, particularly when some of it goes to waste like this week.
Wardrobe moving actually turned into wardrobe dismantling, it was huge and had to go down two winding staircase floors. There were three of us though so no problem.
