Blog2019 ≫ Pub tomorrow

The church hall in Seabrook which is normally used as a polling station has been condemned and immediately closed! So voting for tomorrow's local elections (and Euro elections I think?) will take place in The Fountain pub. A the PTA meeting this week people were asking if this was even legal? And why not use the school? I think the pub will be very pleased with this, get some local people across the threshold.

I think also that the church hall has been condemned because it is found to sit on some dangerously valuable land. They've not found asbestos or anything and it's not falling down, but there's already a planning application in to convert it. It will make some lovely flats. A shame to lose it, that's where we went to toddler group with both of the boys.

That work issue that I posted about yeterday happened again just at home time. I think our account was topped up but we were sending so many marketing texts and had so many in the queue that we soon used them, and for some reason we could not top up again.

I stayed late, and was checking on this issue last night, and up again at 6am today to see if it is resolved. But no. I will get this time back on Friday afternoon, chin chin.

Swimming yesterday was not good.
