Blog2019 ≫ We did some gardening

We tidied the back garden for a few hours, have cleared four bags of rubbish anyway, but not sure it has made much difference. I've got rid of one of the planters, and cut the big bushes back so I think it gives more space to play in. Didn't do much on the shed yet, it really needs a new roof, maybe next weekend...

Clare is at pump class now, then our shopping is arriving a bit earlier than usual, then we're all out for the afternoon. To the harbour arm for the first time this year, hopefully get some tea out somewhere too.

The first Hythe boot fair of the year was on today too but it's hard to get down to them a) because Clare is going to pump class and b) because the boys have a real aversion to them for some reason. It's slightly drizzly now so it might not have been a great one, and we got a TONNE of books yesterday in charity shops anyway. We have to get down there by hook or by crook in a few weeks anyway because I have got to be marshalling down there at 7am. The proceeds of that one will go to the school, so we are all volunteering. Maybe Clare can walk to pump class and I can take the boys in the car, or maybe she can go to pump on a different day.

Feeling bad about missing the park run yesterday, I will have to try a run outside later or maybe go on the treadmill instead.

I watched Suicide Squad yesterday, that is a bad film. It made so little sense, was it chopped up for Netflix? Or just that bad originally?
