Hmm first one I have missed though my own choice today. Or do I mean my own fault? I tripped and fell while running back from the Inn Doors last night and my knee really hurts so while I got up in time for it, I decided to give it a miss this week. Next week I'll be back!
Splendid night at the Inn Doors though, nearly makes up for it. Tried to go to another pub too, to see whatever has replaced The Troubador, but it has closed down. Got some good walking in.
Sick boy is no longer sick, he was mostly well yesterday and ate his tea, though he did take another dive before bedtime. Today he seems all better, but we could not persuade him to leave the house, he's having a pyjama day. Only thing one and I went to town this morning, which meant not staying out for lunch, as it would not be fair. We bought lunch - including some Docker bread - and scoured the charity shops for another Maze Runner book, as he has now read the first two. We found a set of five for a tenner in The Works, so got those and will give the duplicates to the school. Also bought Hunger Games as it seems to be similar. Odd that he's reading books that he's not old enough to watch the films of. Also I insisted he buy a Terry Pratchett too, one for younger readers of all ages, that I have not read. I will give it a go.
This afternoon thing one has promised to help me in the garden, but I have to wait now for him to finish playing Geometry Dash on his tablet. He was complaining that the garden was too crowded, so he's going to help me cut back the bushes and do some weeding and things. I might give the lawn another go too as long as it stays dry.
Clare is out tonight round Jen's, I will catch up on some TV.
