Blog2019 ≫ We are being exhibited in an art exhibition

OK, not actually us, not actually me and my art work. Not even the boys art works, even though they both love drawing right. But an an artwork that we bought ten or more years ago has been requested back by the artist to go into an exhibition at Folkestone Town Hall. It is the Shane Record painting of the Old High Street, and it will be on display for a month. Clare is a great friend of Shane's now and he's asked for our painting. It will be one of his only older works to be there I think.

Instead of "an artwork we bought" I was going to say "the painting I bought Clare", but if it's going in an exhibition and the value goes up then it's definitely ours, rather than hers. His originals are already ten times the price they were when I bought this one, let's hope they keep going up.
