Gah I thought he was coming to do the work today, but no, only to quote me. He's fixing taps in the loo and the kitchen, fixing the dripping shower, and investigating an occasional strange smell... The smell being occasional seemingly indicates it is not in the pipework in our house but he's going to cut a hole and make sure. Hopefully it is coming from next door and will stop when they get their bathroom fixed. I know they have a loo out of action, so am hoping it is that. Pleasant anyway!
