I thought I heard fireworks about 10pm last night so looked out of the window. No fireworks but lots of blue flashing lights on Princes Parade. Some at this end, seemingly closing off access to the road, and then more in the middle, with spotlights eventually set up too. At first I assumed it was some activity on the beach, but now guessing it was just a bad accident, it can be a bit of a drag strip along there at times. No idea how the fireworks come into it, or if they were actually gunshots...
It was all still going on when I went to bed about half eleven but seems to be clear again this morning.
