I arranged an overpayment of the mortgage a couple of months ago when I got my little pay rise. Just checked on it and my mortgage payments went down at this time, rather than up. Seems I was already overpaying the mortgage a bit, and as the new amount was less than the old amount they just reduced it... So I must have had more spare cash last month and this, not that I have really noticed it.
Am bidding on a treadmill, fingers crossed. Two we were interested locally in got snapped up before we got a chance.
