Not sure what made me just search, nor if I have seen this before but here's a picture of Samuel Rainey 1 outside his pub the Moulders Arms, Salford. He's my Great Great Grandfather (or at least one of them, you have eight great grandfathers, all being well).
The picture there is from this booklet 2 which I will buy when I can think of something else to bump my order up to free postage.
Ah yes, now I know why I was searching, was looking for an old photo for Clare, then found older photos that the boys enjoyed, then found a copy of a photo of Samuel Rainey.
