Blog2018 ≫ Good run down to Portchester

Our long weekend started off quite well, lovely sunny day yet again and quite an easy run down to Mum and Dad's. We were directed off the M25 by our "Ways" app, must have been some issue just before the A3 exit. We came off just before, that, and headed North towards London confusingly, before joining the A3 and sailing straight down. We did the whole journey without a break which is unusual.

Got there about lunchtime, had some sandwiches and Trevor and Linda arrived, nice to see them. Then we all went to the Salt Cafe, which was lovely. Shame the tide was out, but still good. Then on to see my Nan who is doing very well considering. Then home for tea, then out to the Seagull. Which is where it all went wrong...
