Blog2018 ≫ Hythe Food Festival 2018

Got the new wheels on the beetle today, it's looking great. Bought one new tyre, all is good, only about a ten quid charge to fit all the new wheels.

Then from lunchtime today we were at Hythe Food Festival, was really nice, really hot, really busy. I got a cider from Wise Owl, found out about http://www.click2cycle.com and had a disappointing curry lunch. The others enjoyed theirs though, Clare had salad and prosecco, thing one had a foot long hot dog, and thing two had a fancy burger. I came away with several chilli sauces, some smoked sun dried tomatoes and some roquita chilli peppers.

Walked home via Sandgate. Clare suggested I walk home and could go to the pub on the way so I went way out of my way to go to a good pub, so have done 20k steps today. Bumped into someone from Portsmouth (a pub friend from round here who is originally from Portsmouth) who has given me a pub recommendation for when we are in Gunwharf, we should go to the Pembroke.

Clare is out tonight with Dom and a few other friends, I will be having an early night ready for running in the morning.

20k: Twenty kilometres, just over twelve miles.
