As it is Fathers Day tomorrow, it's my lie in, hurrah! But, Clare is going out this evening on the razzle dazzle (well to The Ship). So how is this going to work?
She has very cleverly prepared the boys breakfasts in advance (fruit, yoghurts, brioche) and told them to help themselves. Also if they get up very quietly at 8am by themselves then they're allowed to take the Nintendo Switch down into the playroom and play there.
I will of course have to kick off at about five past eight demanding my breakfast in bed, just to teach her a lesson for going out without me.
