Noticed an odd patch on the carpet yesterday looked like a spilled drink, but then can also see a mark on the ceiling below it, so looks like there is a leak in our en-suite... I've always known it was a bit rum in the corner by the sink, a dodgy looking patch in the corner of the wall but it's hidden by the bin so I put it out of my mind. I think it's just something that leaks occasionally, yesterday must have been a bad one. Was not weather related afaik, so must be something up with that sink. The tap needs replacing there anyway, it's hard to turn off. I have called the plumber today. Had to leave a message, every plumber in the area will be out fixing burst pipes caused by this cold snap...
